Dont post on this thread if your not going to sign lol, this is a striking(ALMOST RIOT) thread, not a discussion. They did nerf the heck out of warriors, and us warriors are not happy, we dont like being treated like crap, if warriors are meant to be tanks, than make us tanks, not walking fragbait.

Man, before this update, there was absolutely nothing that could be done to kill a warrior. No skills at all that could ignore armor or make the reduction insignificant. If there had been any anti-warrior skills before, there's just no way anyone would ever have learned how to cope with them.

Touch rangers are ANTI-Warrior pal. I'm a warrior and I hate touch rangers, especially 1-1 in AB. This thread is pretty big, 2K views in 25 hours, think GW will do something about it? They better lol. Kinda like Coca-Cola, long time ago, they made coke with a lot of suger to compete with pepsi, but a lot of people didnt like it and they decided to go back to coca-cola CLASSIC.

Hmmm, if Warriors were weakened enough by this update to become as unwanted as Assasins and Mesmers, that would really make my day lol.

Although I'm sure that won't happen. Tanks will still be invited into groups unconditionally, they will still "pwn," and they still have the best armor in the game. Maybe the ones who don't adapt will die more often, but then again, so does every other class in the game....

Haven't read the entire thread, but this is hilarious. At least I don't need to see any Wammo's in the PvP arenas for awhile then. Can always use Warrior Henches to fill the groups.

Dear Arena-Net,
As much as I love your game, i find i must agree with the original poster. You have killed my warrior. I was about to buy 15k gladiators and a 15k ascalon helm for my female warrior. I was excited, because the 15k ascalon helm looks better on the women. In the middle of my farming spree, I saw the new build message. Naturally, i finished the run, closed guild wars, and opened an internet browser. As I started reading the update, things seemed worse and worse. Not only did the coolest looking armor for female warriors (in my opinion) become less wonderful, my shield is hanging useless at my side when I am struck with a fireball. In fact, the way shields act now, I would be better served by a piece of wood salvaged from a raven staff. Also, I must now wear the hideous full knights armor to experience damage reduction, and even this reduction is only against physical, which if either team in PvP is worth their salt, I will not be facing. I gazed over the other updates, hoping to learn of a buff, but instead I find "burning speed"'s cast time lowered.. I find this silly. Not only does an almost un-interruptable cast time of 3/4ths become less, I can light myself on fire faster. Shouldn't this skill requires you to wear oil-covered rags? Imagine me and Bill:
me: hey bill, wait up
Bill: no way man, if you want to be as fast as me, cast burning speed in only 1/4ths time because everyone wants to interrupt you, when you hurt yourself.
me: oh fine, (add in oil-spreading sounds and match igniting the fuel)
Bill: oh wow, you burn yourself in only 1/4th of a second instead of 3/4th!!!

Um... no. They won't do anything, and they shouldn't. And among those 2k views are probably a good number that are reading for enjoyment, and possibly even amused by the idea of a warrior strike. WEll I'm no dinosaur, I will STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE, I think this recieved damage is WORSE than that stock market crash in GW 7 months ago. If I was a dinosaur, the stock market crash would be the meteor hitting us, and this would be a ICE AGE.

maybe some people didnt realise the difference shields made with -2 dmg had? those shields ARE NOT -5 for a 20% chance. (oh and to point out -5 20% chance is now the worse mod there is)

the -2 was always, there was no chance for it, if you met the req (stanced or enchanted or -3 hexed) it was there, helping you not take 2 dmg from ALL those attacks each. how many times can u count being hit? -2 from all those is a HUGE number. you have to UNDERSTAND, this is not a "small" nerf, its freaking huge for the shields. that special -2 dmg is a real deal!!!

THE ARMOR IS NOT A BIG DEAL, the RUNES are a joke, and the shields were out of no where. there hasnt been any word to us from anet, as to why this was done. and its down right retarded.

the warrior really has become deminished, the whole job of them is to take advantage of all other classes with their hands, running up, beating on casters, to apply pressure against what they were trying to do to the war's support. the idea in a battle is to keep the enemy on their toes, and stay on yours as well. keeping the enemy's warriors in check while you try to get around them and destroy their support.

if you couldn't think about it before, the warrior is actually the weakest class there is, UNLESS he has SUPPORT. assassin has more support on his own than a warrior lol. thats what makes them playable on their own, potentially better than a warrior now, why bother tryin to take dmg when u can tele around killing "targeted caster" in a few seconds? seriously - i wouldnt be surprized if i saw a team with 3 assassins to overwhelm the norm of 2 monks, and kill some other caster at the same time. thus removing a warrior out of the picture. (i thought warrior was a core class? lol)

i would dare say people cant understand why -2 dmg makes such a difference, cause they couldn't see the difference, or cared to know, because they are fools.

Ok this is getting out of hand. Too much overreaction on the changes to the warrior going on. Dont take this is a "stop whining" post but seriously some of you need to calm down.
